I'm a student of anthropology at the University of West Georgia, with a burgeoning interest in the physical/biological side of things. Anthropology is a field that values all difference, and I'm honored to be following the example of Franz Boas in studying the evolutionary value of cultural and biological variation in humans.
I'm a reader, and sometimes a writer. Tennyson is a favorite of mine, and I know I'm in good company when I say I adore Tolkien, and am absolutely spellbound by Rowling. ...Really, I love anything with rich characters, so long as it's not too heavily pessimistic. As a writer, my biggest project has been a novel, Guts, that is finished but will remain hidden under my desk forevermore. Lately, I'm scribbling here and there, but nothing substantial.
School, books and writing make up most of my posts. Boring to anyone but me, I'm sure, but I enjoy meeting people here, so friend if you like.
